MZ201

The MZ 201 is a two cylinder, two-cycle air-cooled engine, derived from the MZ202 and rated at 45 Hp, a second generation two stroke engine. At this power output we are able to use our belt reduction drive system and the engine does not require forced air cooling, but that is dependant on installation detail. The torque curve is very flat and optimised for driving a propeller, this together with double CDI ignition system and a single Tillotson diaphragm carburettor give reduced fuel consumption. The MZ201 is supplied with electric starter, recoil starter, exhaust system, wiring harness, air filter and belt reduction, complete weight is only 31 kg (69 lbs) Options available are: RZ2 gear box with clutch, and fan cooling.

MZ202

The powerful lightweight MZ 202 is a two cylinder, two-cycle air-cooled engine, a union of modern materials innovative design and state of the art manufacturing methods. Forced air cooling together with Nikasil bores give better thermal properties without adding unnecessary weight and complexity to the engine. A fully electronic duel ignition system for maximum reliability and minimum maintenance, with a 180 Watt alternator providing ample power for most requirements, and fuelling is by means of dual Bing 54 carburettors. The MZ202 weight is a mere 40kg (88 lbs) including muffler and gear box. All models are supplied complete with electric starter, wiring harness and exhaust system.
